SUB:  EXAMINATION. ASSESSMENT AND CLEARANCE OF VEHICLES UNDER CUSTOMS AUTOMATED CLEARANCE SYSTEM.

To facilitate the passengers, clearing agents as well as importers and to reduce the dwell time for clearance of vehicles whether new or old & used being imported under Baggage / Gift / TR Schemes etc. a new automated module has been developed and introduced in WeBOC (Web Based One Custom). Accordingly, it has been decided to allow examination, assessment and clearance of vehicles through the said module w.e.f. September 01, 2014.

2. All the stake holders including Passengers, Clearing Agents and Importers are advised to get their User IDs from the Deputy Collector (Facilitation / User ID) MCC Appraisement (East) for filing their Goods Declarations (GDs) under WeBOC. Existing regime of One Customs for clearance of vehicles shall be discontinued and switched of with effect from August 31,2014.

3. Mr. Muhammad Arslan Majeed Rana Assistant Collector of this Collectorate is nominated as a focal person for facilitating the smooth switch over to WeBOC module and can be reached through Telephone No.021-99214287 and e-mail ID i.e. arslanrana8@gmail.com during office hours.

4. In case, any difficulty is faced during switch over to the new' module then that may immediately be brought to the notice of the above named Assistant Collector as well as Additional Collector incharge of the concerned Assessment Group for quicker solution of the problem.
