PUBLIC NOTICE NO 04/2013 (MCC APPRAISEMENT)

In pursuance of Board’s letter C. No. 1(1)PS(MC)2011/153427 dated 04.07.2012 and minutes of the meeting, held on 15.11.2012 at FBR Islamabad, circulated vide Board’s letter of even number dated 29.11.2012 and in supersession of M.C.C. (Appraisement), Karachi’s Public Notice No. 02 (MCC Appraisement) of 12.01.2013, it is circulated for the information of all concerned, including the Importers, Exporters, Customs Clearing Agents, Terminal Operators, Shipping Agents, Customs Bonded Carriers and other stakeholders that WeBoC software has been deployed a Off dock terminals of M.C.C. (Appraisement), Karachi.

2.         No Goods Declaration will be filed through One Customs for the cargo arriving at Off dock Terminals through WeBOC after the cut-off date and time i.e., 00:00 hours on 08.03.2013 except the GDs claiming benefit under SRO 326(I)/2008 dated 29.03.2008, SRO 327(i)2008 dated 29.03.2008, SRO 492(I)/2009 dated 13.06.2009, SRO 655(I)/2006 dated 22.06.2006 and SRO 656(I)/2006 dated 22.06.2006, Goods related to Export Processing Zones, Goods related to Defence stores, Goods of Organizations having no NTN, vehicles imported under various schemes and goods meant for warehousing. However, Goods arriving at Off-dock terminals through One Customs may continue to be cleared through One Customs.

 3.         The office of the Deputy Collector, MIS, MCC Appraisement, 2nd Floor, Custom House, Karachi will provide necessary assistance to all concerned.
