SUB: Implementation of “weboc” NLCcT.
The Federal Board of Revenue has approved the gradual roll-out of the ‘WeBOC system to MCC (Exports), Karachi vide C.No. 1(1) PS (MC)/2011 dated04.07.2012. In pursuance of the aforesaid decision and in order to ensure a seamless implementation, a phased implementation approach is being adopted. Accordingly, the facility of WeBOC system is being extended to cargo being exported through NLCTT from 08th October, 2013. Accordingly, all exporters and their clearing agents are advised to file Goods Declarations pertaining to LCL/FCL cargo of MCC (Exports), Karachi exported through NLCTT, in WeBOC system w.e.f. 08lh October, 2013 as their exports will be blocked in One-Customs system after the aforesaid cut-off date and no ‘LCL/FCL export cargo' pertaining to NLCTT shall be allowed “Gate-in" in One- Customs system after 23:59 Hours on 07th October, 2013.
3. The Terminal Operator is directed not to entertain any shipment of export cargo in One-Customs system after the cutoff date and time. All export cargo, therefore, shall be handled by the MCC (Exports), Karachi at NLCTT after the above said date & time in terms of relevant Rules given in Chapter XXI of Customs Rules notified by the Board vide SRO 450(I)/2001 dated 18.06.2001 which apply to the clearance of export cargo through WeBOC system.
4. Similarly, all concerned are directed to get their User IDs/roles from Deputy Collector (MIS), MCC Exports, Custom House, Karachi, before the cut-off date to ensure smooth functioning. The WeBOC Project Office may be contacted in case any problem is faced in filing GD and export manifest in WeBOC system.
