It has been reported that disposal of second reviews filed before the Deputy/Assistant Collectors in the WeBOC System get generally delayed due to other engagements like hearings in the Tribunal or at other relevant forums.
2. In order to streamline the above activity and to ensure that such reviews are disposed / decided expeditiously on merits and in accordance with law, it has been decided that, henceforth, public hearing timings before the Deputy / Assistan Collectors (Appraising Groups) for this purpose are fixed for 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on all working days. Internal meetings will nitbe held with those Assistant / Deputy Collectors by their supervisory officers except in situations requiring urgent official attention.
3. The trade representatives are accordingly suggested to abide by the aforesaid fixed timings and get their hearings conducted during the prescribed time. No one shall be entertained for these hearings after 2:30 p.m. The above hearing timings shall be applicable / observed from 5th May, 2015.
