Sub: ROLL OUT OF SAFE TRANSPORTATION (FCL)MODULE UNDER WeBOC.
In order to improve working of safe transportation scheme and to computerize its data under WeBOC System, Safe Transportation Module for full container load (FCL) cargo has been developed. In this regard, training sessions have also been geld in the Directorate of Reform and Automation, Custom House, Karachi followed by a vide conferencing session on 20.05.02015 which was attended by Officer/officials/staff of Customs of Karachi and upcountry Collectorates besides representatives of bonded carriers and private bonds.
2. The subject module has now been deployed in the WeBOC system and is ready for use. Therefore, all stakeholders re hereby intimated to file ST-GDs through WeBOC for expeditious clearance thereof. In case of any system bug or problem which needs to be addressed the Deputy Collector, MIS of the respective Collectorate and Mr., ArshadHussain, Manager Operations, PRAL (0321-2380116/support.weboc@pral.com.pk may be contacted.
3. Filing of Safe Transportation G.D through WeBOC system for FCL cargo shall be compulsory with effect 1st August, 2015. No ST.GD relating to FCL cargo shall be processed through Once Custom System after 31st July, 2015 All Customs Collectorates are requested to feed relevant data of license of their each licensee in the system by 25thJuly, 2015 to avoid any delay in smooth function of the new system.
