 STANDING ORDER NO.15/2004(A) 

SUB:              Round the clock customs operations at Pakistan International Conatiner Terminal (PICT).

In pursuance of the Central Board of Revenue's instructions to facilitate the trade and for speedy round the clock clearance of import and export cargo, it has been decided that with effect from 16.08.2004 the Customs and Port Operations at PICT shall continue on 24 basis (excluding Sunday and public holidays).

2.         The Assistant Deputy collector (East Wharf) will assign duties; to the examination staff on shift basis. There will be three shifts 8.00 a.m. to 6.00, p.m. 6.00p.m to 8:00 a.m. The Assistant/deputy Collector concerned will monitor the round the clock customs operations at the terminal to ensure quick examination and clearance of the Import/export/baggage consignment.
