SUB:              ACP FACILITY UNLESS SOME CASE OF FRAUD OR MISDECLARATION.

It is hereby informed that as per para 4(l) of the Standing Order 1/2005 dated 27.01.2005 all the importers already enrolled in ACP, before implementation of Standing Order No. 01/2005, shall continue to enjoy ACP facility unless some case of fraud or mis-declaration is detected against them.

02.      It has already been ordered that where the assessment of goods has been made final at the time of in-bonding whether by group or under ACP, all their ex-bond GDs shall be processed under ACP, wherein assessment shall be done by computer and their EB GDs shall not be brought to groups for assessment unless:--

a)         The GD was selected for detail scrutiny under 10% random selection criteria.

b)         Benefit of some SRO has been claimed in EB GD which was not claimed at the time of in-bonding.

03.       All the appraisers and PAs are directed to ensure compliance.
