KPRA Achieves 45% Revenue Growth in First Half of FY 2024-25!

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has collected an impressive Rs24.2 billion in the first half of the financial year 2024-25, reflecting a remarkable 45% growth compared to the same period last year.

In the corresponding period last year, KPRA collected Rs16.7 billion, showcasing a notable Rs7.5 billion increase in revenue.

The authority raised Rs18.15 billion from sales tax on services and Rs6.07 billion from the Infrastructure Development Cess (IDC).

Last year, Rs14.6 billion was collected from sales tax on services, while IDC collections stood at Rs2.1 billion, indicating 24% growth in sales tax on services and an exceptional 189% rise in IDC.

Director General KPRA, Fouzia Iqbal, lauded the team’s commitment and hard work, attributing the impressive performance to their efforts over the past six months.

She expressed optimism that the annual revenue target would not only be met but also exceeded.

“With sustained efforts and our strategic approach, I am confident we will surpass this year’s target. By June’s end, KPRA will once again set a benchmark for excellence,” she remarked
